He stated, “Even the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had done ‘panchanama’(analysis) of the economy of the State but the government refused to accept it.”

Mr. faleiro declared that to protest against, he referred it as “The failure of the BJP-led government”, the opposition Congress in Goa will take out a ‘mashal yatra’ on Wednesday. He added that when BJP came to power, people expected good governance but soon they realized that the government was going back on its promises.

He later focused on the things on which according to him BJP failed to take appropriate actions on. Mr. Faleiro said, “For the last four months, there has been a demand that there should be a ban on the trawlers using LED lights for fishing but the government has not done anything about it. On the contrary, when aggrieved fishermen protested, they were lathi-charged. We demand that a judicial inquiry is ordered.”
