In one of the highly shocking incident a police constable from Corlim and seven others have gang-raped a women in Goa, out of which 3 have been arrested and 5 still absconding. According to the news published by the local daily in Goa Old Goa police have registered the case of gang-rape against eight people including the police constable from Corlim Goa involved in the rape. Goa Police managed to arrest the three of them out of total eight. 5 accused are still at large.
The name of the police constable is revealed as Yogesh Khandeparkar who is already under arrest. Besides Yogesh police have arrested Manguesh and Vikram from Curca. All the accused have been remanded to 7 days police custody while Goa police is on lookout for remaining five absconding accused.
According to the story narrated by the police the victim woman was known to one of the accused and one his request she accompanied to him to the house of Yogesh (the constable) on July 29 where all of the eight accused raped her in turns. The medical examination of the woman has established that the woman was raped said the police. The complaint in this regards was launched on 31st July 2015.
What a sad things that people who are lawmakers are getting involved into unlawful activities, the cop who supposed to protect the citizens is raping the woman with his friends is highly shameful event.
