A recent development has been made on the case of Stanley Coutino (28-year-old), the extortionist from Tivaivado, Calangute. After the arrest of Stanley Coutino on July 4th, 2018, another offence was booked under him for assaulting a resident of Saligao in April. In the current offence booked under the accused, apparently, Stanley had assaulted a man from Saligao in this same year. Following the arrest of the accused, the victim gathered courage and approached the police station to file a complaint against him.
According to TOI, PI Jivba Dalvi said that the police received a complaint that Stanley had assaulted the man in a restaurant in Gauravaddo, Calangute while watching a cricket match.
The police are gradually receiving more complaints at the police station against the accused. Further information on the case will be provided once the investigation is complete.
