In a shocking incident today morning one college boy from Margao was brutally assaulted by the group of tourists travelling in black INOVA car registered in Maharashtra. The incident took place in south Goa on Panaji – Margao highway. The car has four occupants out of which three were male and one female. They were traveling in the car registered in Maharashtra having registration No. MH 07 Q 9054. After the assault they allegedly tried to kidnap the boy in their car.
According to the available information from reliable sources the incident took place around 9 am when the boy was on his way to the collage on two wheeler accidently hit the Inova vehicle from behind, with the snap of instance all the four occupants of Invova including a woman came out of the car and started assaulting the boy. The boy requested to not to hit him as he will pay for the damages caused by the accident. But they did not listen and started hitting him further and subsequently they put him behind in the dicky and proceeded towards Margao city. On the way they took a halt to have breakfast at the restaurant opposite to the new collectorate building in Margao.
They left the boy in the dicky and proceeded towards the restaurant, after some time that boy managed to escape from the car and came out on the main road. He somehow managed to stop the Police Gypsy and took the rescue. Police immediately swung into the action and detained all four culprits. They also found the weapons like iron rods in the said Inova.
Within no time the news spread like fire in the entire city and people from surrounding area gathered at the spot and started demanding the explanation from the culprits, at one point of the time the situation seems going out of the control but police managed to control the crowed and took the culprit into their shelter in the police van.
The name of the kidnappers and the boy is not yet known though we tried to get more details of the incident from the Verna Police station where the culprits are currently in police custody. The Verna Police did not reveal anything much accept saying that the matter is under process. But soon we will come back to you with more details on this issue.
