In this case at Anjuna, Two West Bengal girls were saved by the Anjuna police and a native of Orissa was arrested under the immoral trafficking act who were taking these girls to sell them to his client. The Orissa native Rehman Khan (27) residing at Calangute drove his scooter carrying two girls who were to be delivered to his prospective customers. Anjuna police rescued the girls and arrested Rehman.
Police on Wednesday produced the accused Rehman before the Mapusa JMFC and the Court has ordered to send the accused to 7-day police custody.
