On Wednesday December 17, Goa’s elegant shoppers will converge on the newly revamped Rust store on CHOGM Road in Sangolda for an event featuring an exciting collection of men’s fashion, furniture and home accessories. From 5-9.30 pm, guests will be pouring in to the beautiful Portuguese bungalow that houses the store to find newly arranged interiors showcasing the exciting fashion line of menswear by Pudu. Established in 2001, Rust is well known for being a ‘melting pot’ of eclectic lifestyle products. The proprietors Nilofer and Reshad Rustomji have over the years built Rust as a vibrant lifestyle destination for discerning shoppers living in and visiting Goa. The collection of furniture, fashion, home linen and artifacts reflect their belief that design is most powerful when it is timeless and simple.

Inspired by travels around the world, Pudu designs are edgy and classic with refined tailoring and fine craftsmanship. The result is an enviable every-day, any-occasion wardrobe that celebrates quality, comfort and design. Rust continues to showcase its contemporary and antique furniture collection which graces many prominent homes in Goa and across the country. However, for the festive season, a new range of home accessories by Ra Lifestyles and home linen by Yamini has been added, giving the store a fresh twist.

After a delightful beginning in Pune, Ra is now in the mecca of good living in India – Goa. Ra offers one-of-a-kind, handcrafted pieces of furniture, accessories and artefacts, at price points that make buying their beautiful products even more tempting. The designs encompass country style furniture pieces complemented by a wide display of wall mounted decorative art panels, lamps, light fixtures and a most delightful array of clocks.

Yamini was born in 2002 from Sunita Namjoshi’s desire to develop affordable contemporary products by and for the Indian market. Established internationally across the globe through a very successful export business, she then ventured into the Indian market combining great design with ethnic weaving traditions resulting in an exquisite range of contemporary home linen and furnishings. The jubilant collection comprises cushions and table linen in colourful batiks, elegant embroideries and metallic prints. The collection also includes the popular ‘knotty baskets’ and containers in various sizes, which work well to store your knick-knacks.
