Based on the available information, Punjab Police has issued a security alert warning saying that the terrorists could carry out an attack in Delhi, Mumbai or Goa. As per DGP (Law and Order), Punjab, three Pakistani militants along with a local are believed to be travelling in a grey Swift Dzire car with some collections of arms and ammunition. Read more here.

As per inputs received by the Punjab Police from the Special Cell of Delhi Police, the terrorists are likely to cross the Banihal Tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir later tonight.

NDTV has reported the number plate of the said car to be JK-01 AB-2654. Please note down the above number as to be alert in terms of the safety measures.

This alert has been taken seriously by all the concern departments as earlier in January this year the news had come that the Pakistani terrorists had crossed into India through the border in Punjab and had targeted the Pathankot Air Force base in a bold attack.

There are two cars in which these suspected terrorists are travelling, one of which was  snatched from a senior police officer and another from a taxi driver (whom they murdered) to travel to the airbase.

There is a high risk to Goa now as people really have to be prepared for any such unexpected attack and government too has to work in terms of a security alert in the state.
