There is another major accident that took place at Batora near Mapusa between Dio and Truck killing two occupants of Dio instantly. This is a third major accident that took place within just in one week’s time following the accidents at Miramar killing the school teacher and Ponda that killed the young engineering student.

While they reach near the Bastora junction. The truck coming from the opposite direction hit them head on killing both the boys instantly.
The spectators’ have claimed that truck went a bit off track leaving its direction towards the two wheeler the boys were proceeding towards the Colvale. The impact was so huge that both the boys got crushed on the water pipeline that is going from the sides of the Mapusa – Panaji highway at Bastora.

The bodies of the deceased were sent for the postmortem at GMC and police did could not reveal much information on this incident at the moment. But the spectators claims that it was the mistake of the truck drives that amounted into this severe accident.
This is the third case that took place in the state within just one week’s time. The first accident took place in Panaji on the Miramar road killing the school head teacher in which the tanker was involved. The second accident took place in Ponda killing the engineering student on the spot. The trucks and tankers are operating like monsters in the state killing the innocent people on the roads and if Goa traffic police do not take the serious action against these people than the accidents will increase.
