From the time BJP government came into the power in Goa they have been constantly borrowing the funds. According to the sources with a recent borrowing of Rs. 300 crore the government borrowings have touched to Rs. 1,350 crore this year. The sanctioned limit for the state, for the financial year 2015-16, as stipulated by the central government, is 1,920 crore. The opposition is constantly pouncing on the government to ask them the records of borrowings and spending but apparently hasn’t received any satisfactory answer till date.
