Discover a real piece of paradise – deep in South Goa. Cola Beach, is a stunning uninhibited remote beach located 5 kms North of Agonda beach in South Goa. Surrounded by coconut swaying palm trees, a breathtaking freshwater blue lagoon; and the Arabian sea, Cola beach is the perfect place to get away from it all, and experience one of the few remaining Goa beach paradises off the beaten path. This private stretch of beach offers you an opportunity to sunbathe uninterrupted and to swim in the clear waters – the most idyllic paradise in all of Goa. Its craggy beach is perfect for those who want to be in touch with pure nature simply whiling away the hours watching the monkeys, dolphins and sea eagles soaring above the panoramic coastline.

Cola beach is also known as ‘Khola’ beach. It’s one of the remote beaches of Goa that is suitable for those seeking an idyllic setting for complete peace and relaxation. Those of you who want to come to Goa for a laid-back holiday experience will discover the exotic beauty and tranquillity of the place just takes your breath away! It’s completely unspoilt and offers an escape from reality.

Cola Beach is certainly one of Goa’s finest beaches, the sand is soft and the water clear. Its craggy beach is perfect for those who want to be in touch with pure nature with plenty of good swimming depth and hopefully an encounter with dolphins. Cola beach is a set of 3 bays, each with its own private beach resort. Most beach resorts on Cola beach offer luxury Rajasthani Tent accommodation, and some with beach huts. Most accommodations on Cola beach are exclusive and include breakfast or meal packages, since there are few restaurants options on the beach and it’s remote location.

A distinctive feature of Cola Beaches is the pure blue lagoon, which is formed by the river flowing into the sea. The distance between the sea and the lake is not so big: they are separated by the narrow strip of sand. During hot flushes the cool fresh lagoon water is mixing with warm salty sea water. Blue Lagoon Resort on Cola beach has a lovely beach restaurant, and the perfect place to enjoy the blue lagoon and the seas for the day with family, friends or for a romantic getaway.

Cola Beach is not the easiest place to find and we would advise that you organise a taxi. Be aware, the road to Cola Beach is across 4km of rocky terrain (however taxis use this everyday) and access down to the beach can be a challenge for people with mobility issues….but once there…you’re in paradise.

From Agonda beach take the main coastal road North for 2 kms until you reach From the Cola bus stand, from there take the rocky road towards the west coast for 2 kms until the road ends, then simply follow the path down to stunning Cola beach.
