LIC Celebrates 62 years of Service in the country!

Life Insurance Corporation of India completes 62 years of its incorporation today on 1st September 2018. LIC has played a major role in the promotion of life insurance policies among the masses in the country which has added to the welfare of the people.

Life Insurance Corporation of India completes 62 years of its incorporation today on 1st September 2018. LIC has played a major role in the promotion of life insurance policies among the masses in the country which has added to the welfare of the people.

A press conference to was held at LIC’s Goa Divisional office at Patto-Panaji, which took place after the Inaugural Ceremony of Insurance week. The conference highlighted that the Goa Division with 11 Branches, 3 Satellite offices, 1 Customer Zone and 3 Mini offices serve over 11,63,572 policies. The division has procured over 18,217 policies and Rs 46.87 crore premium during this current financial year.

Highlighting the conference were also the unique plans such as the Jeevan Akshay VI, a pension plan providing lifetime guaranteed returns and the schemes such as Converged Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and the Aam Admi Bima Yojana. These schemes will provide life insurance protection to people living below the poverty line and marginally above the poverty line.

LIC has also come up with a unique 3in1 “My LIC App” for Android & iOS mobile phones for the benefit of customers. The app has access to services such as payment of premium, customer services, and quick quotes.
