According to the news published by the national news agency PTI, a 35-year-old man had raped a seven-year-old girl who is apparently a neighbor of the accused. According to the police, the incident took place in the Burari area in New Delhi.
The accused is said to be the painter by profession and he used to work at the office of the victim girl’s father. This nasty incident took place on Friday when the accused was working on the wall while the girl came to her father’s office while playing with her friends.
The accused took the advantage of the situation and sent the other kids out of the room and allegedly forced himself on a small seven-year-old girl, the official informed. The incident came into the light when the small girl complained of the pain in her private parts and after taken into the confidence of the parents she narrated the true incident.
Later the accused was arrested by Delhi Police and produced before the magistrate for the remand and court sent him to 14-day judicial custody.
According to the sources, people in the vicinity beat him before handing him over the police. The accrued was residing in the same locality said the police officials. The small girl was sent for the medical examination to the city hospital where her condition is said to be normal at the moment.
The accused had been booked under the relevant act of IPC and POSCO said the official.
