This is one of the most shocking cases which took place in Goa recently, three unknown men raped a 20-year-old girl in front of her boyfriend at Senarbattim Beach in south Goa on the night of Thursday. Goa Police, who is investigating this matter, did not disclose any more details about the case, except for saying that the investigations are going on and they are unable to reveal many details.
This is one of the most shameful act that took place in Goa. Goa is marching towards the crime state with a number of crimes taking place on day to day basis. It does not have the government in place, and police are taking their own sweet time to do the Investigation. Women are no more safe in this state.
According to the sources, the incident took place on Thursday night at one of Goa’s beautiful beach, situated at Senarbattim in south Goa. According to the reports, the young couple was out on Senarbattim beach in the night of Thursday when this incident took place. According to the story narrated by the couple, three unknown men approached them and forced them to strip in front of them, clicked their photographs and demanded the money from them. Later three men allegedly gang-raped the young woman in front of her boyfriend.
Since the accused were more in number, the couple found it hard to defend and run away. According to the police, the situation was an advantage for the accused men to blackmail and rob them out; since it’s already been found out that the couple faced these things as the men wanted to rob their money.
As per the statement of South Goa’s superintendent shared by Hindustan times, the woman has been sent for medical examination and reports are awaited. The arrest hasn’t been made yet, as police are still searching for the accused. Many suspects were brought to the police station for questioning but so far there have been no results.
A lot of information was kept away as per the ongoing investigation. Nothing about the couple’s family has been brought to light, and so is the fact as to why the couple was there that night. It was a very unlucky cursed day for the couple, as they were the ones present at that place and that time of the day.
