Goa is growing at a rapid speed and so is prostitution as it has been increased in India and in the rest of the world. In Goa there are prostitutes those who are forced into this industry by people, and also there is this new kind of prostitute in the industry those are here form their own and believe me or not they make money like a CEO of an MNC . In a recent case in Goa, Panjim Police rescued a girl from prostitution while arrested two pimps near a hotel in Miramar on Tuesday evening.

Police officials said the pimps were caught red-handed while delivering the girl for prostitution and that the three accused used to procure girls from other States and supply to high-end customers.
The accused arrested have been identified as Ravindrakumar Dhaketa (35) from Ahmadabad Gujarat and Prashant Gome (19) from Indore MP and Ruby have been arrested and booked under Section 4, and 5 of ITP Act and 370 of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
It is known that the victim girl is from UP. According to the Police, the victim girl was procured by the main accused and was supplied to prospective customers through the two accused Dhaketa and Gome.
The menace has increased so much that it is normal to very often read about prostitutions rackets being busted across Goa. The sad part is, even though sex rackets are busted regularly, the activities still keep continuing as if there is no end to prostitution.
Goans themselves are fed up and want to get rid of this menace. Such activities affect the tourism industry, as it attracts the wrong crowd to the state. Although there have been many steps undertaken to improve the situation, it is still not enough, the reason being the mentality of people who visit the state. They see Goa as a place where foreign women sunbath naked and sex is as casual as a handshake. This presumption is itself wrong.
