This is the Smartphone age, a mobile phone with the facility to do almost everything and anything is called Smartphone, and now a days there is huge competition in this filed and to keep up with this ever-growing competition one of the famous Chinese Brand “Xiaomi” has launched its newest Smartphone – the Xiaomi Mi 4i – that carries a very competitive price tag of Rs 12,999. The phone goes on sale from April 30 and registration begins on April 23 at 8 PM on Flipkart. Xiaomi has just upped the Smartphone competition in India with its The Mi 4i will soon be available across all Xiaomi channels including the Snapdeal, Amazon and the Mobile Store. The phone will also launch in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia in May.

The global unveiling of the phone was held in New Delhi. According the industry sources the Mi 4i is having some of the top-notch specs at a budget price. The phone has a uni-body design and is powered by a 2nd generation Snapdragon 615 octa-core 64-bit processor. The 5-inch device has a full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels at 441 PPI. The Mi 4i draws its juice from a 3120mAh battery that promises 1.5 days of normal usage. Other feature includes the 13MP primary camera and 5MP front secondary camera with self timer. The powerhouse 4G dual SIM device comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The UX is Xiaomi’s MIUI 6 atop Android 5.0 Lollipop. Xiaomi also has plans to to introduce its low end model Mi Band for the Indian market starting at a price of Rs 999.

India is the Major marketplace for Xiaomi besides its home country China.  India has around 55 crore mobile users and its growing by the day and Xiaomi has recently solf around 2 million handsets in just 12 hours creating the Guinness World Record. Now Xiaomi looking at the Indian market making a aggressive pith.

Earlier to entering the Indian market officlially he company had been selling its devices online exclusively on Flipkart until April 8 when it announced its partnership with two new e-commerce platforms Snapdeal and Amazon. Xiaomi has also ventured into brick and mortar stores by partnering with retail chain The Mobile Store. It has also entered into a partnership with telecom operator Bharti Airtel.
