As mentioned earlier this is the second most oldest and famous restaurant providing Chinese cuisine and situated in the capital city of south Goa Margao. The restaurant interior is reasonably well decorated and ambiance is good, it gives the feel of Chinese ambiance and aroma of the food ignites the appetite.

Gaylin is a twin-level Chinese eatery that offers delicious dishes with generous portions. The decor is traditional Chinese, with dragon motifs on the glass wall upstairs. A dragon, made of plaster of Paris, even hangs from the roof on the ground floor. The interestingly named China Town, cooked in szechwan sauce and red chilli paste and Hunan Chicken are very popular. The Chicken Devil Sauce, Chilli Hot Bean, Chilli Oyster and Chicken T/4 are popular with the visitors. The bar upstairs serves litchie juice, rum and gin-based Gaylin’s Special Cocktail, Blue Bay and Green Dragon. This Chinese restaurant is a good place for a working lunch. Climb up to the first floor for a quiet meal.

The cost wise this restaurant is little bit on expensive side but backed by good food and punctual service. This place is good to visit with family and friends provided you do not sit for drinking late night as they do not provide the alcohol after the 11pm mark but the food is served till late night. Being one of the oldest Chinese restaurant they know their job well and you will have very thin margin for complaining for any lags.

If you are in south Goa for business or holiday trip and do not want to goto any five star property for lunch or dinner then this is one of the most recommended place in Margo for good Chinese food with great ambiance.
