The deputy speaker of Goa Assembly Mr. Vishnu Wagh has been airlifted from the Goa Medical Collage to the private hospital in Mumbai due to his deteriorating condition. The BJP legislature and St. Andre MLA Mr. Vishnu Surya Wagh was hospitalized in GMC on the August 15 after he complained of uneasiness is said to have airlifted to the Hinduja Hospitals in Mumbai. His condition has deteriorating since he was admitted in GMC said the sources.
According to the sources, Mr. Wagh was on life-saving devices with sedatives injected into his blood. This was the second time Mr. Wagh was hospitalized due to cardiac arrest. The sources have revealed that his heart had stopped functioning and doctors had to put him on the life-saving devices with sedative injections.
Mr. Wagh was ferried in very serious condition from GMC (Goa Medical College) to Mumbai said the sources. He was taken to Dabolim International Airport from GMC in North Goa under the supervision of the doctors and a police escort on late Thursday evening before being airlifted to Mumbai in specially chartered Ambulance aircraft.
“We have asked the government to ensure that all of Mr. Wagh’s medical expenses should be borne by it,” said Goa BJP president Vinay Tendulkar. Mr. Wagh, who approached GMC with very high pressure and high sugar levels, had suffered a second heart attack on Monday.
The Goa Medical College Dean Mr. Pradeep Naik has told the media that Mr. Wagh has been admitted to Hinduja Hospital is in a coma and his recovery will entirely depend upon the functioning of his organs.
