In one of the most embarrassing situations that took place on the north Goa beach today, an upcoming Bollywood actress who was on her short holiday in Goa was sexually harassed by the group of hooligans. According to the sources, the actress was taking a stroll on the beach in North Goa when the incident occurred. Perhaps, this may not be the first incident wherein the female tourist has been harassed by the rowdy people loafing around on the beaches of Goa.
Based on the news published in the national daily Times of India, the Sandalwood actress Niveditha who was in Goa on a short vacation has been sexually harassed by the group of rowdy people on the beach in north Goa. According to the sources, the actress was taking a stroll on the beach when the group of hooligans started passing the lewd remarks on her.
The sources said that the situation could have gone out of the hands but the timely intervention of one of the hotel supplier who rescued the actress and escorted her back to the hotel. The news of the harassment of the tourists on the beaches of Goa is a very serious issue and the stakeholders of the tourism industry of Goa needs to deploy the mechanism to tackle such incidents in the future.
According to the sources, the actress Niveditha was staying in Goa alone for two days before meeting her boyfriend here. The actress has known for her performance related roles in the several Bollywood movies and she has also become famous through her performance in latest feature film Shuddhi.
