Another accident took place on the Goan roads, the sources have revealed that both the deceased were employees of a Casino in the city. According to the police reports, the duo was on their way from Anjuna to Panaji to attend their morning duty at Casino in Panaji when the accident took place. The motorcycle they were traveling accidentally hit the tree and both rider and pillion sustained grievous injuries which resulted in their instant death.
According to the news published in the national daily, Two Nepali nationals working at a Casino in the city died in a road accident at Arpora in the wee hours of Monday. The police reports have claimed that it was a self-accident as the motorcycle they were riding had accidentally hit the tree on Anjuna – Arpora road causing the serious injuries to both, rider and pillion. Both died on the spot said the police sources. The Anjuna police have registered the case as Unnatural death.
According to the Anjuna police, an accident took place at around 4 am on Monday when the rider of the bike Harminder Best (30) and pillion rider Ram Krishna Pandey (36) both of them native of Nepal were on their way from Anjuna to Panaji to join the duty on the morning shift at the Casino in a city.
While they reach to Arpora, their motorcycle hit the tree and both of them sustained serious injuries which resulted in their death. The duo was shifted to north Goa district hospital by 108 ambulance service but the doctor on duty after the examination declared them both as “Brought Dead”, said the sources.
Anjuna police have conducted the Panchanama and the bodies were sent for the postmortem to GMC (Goa Medical College and Hospital) at Bambolim.
