Party to be `seen as cool.’ Where `attitude’ comes as naturally as lighting up a Cuban Cigar with a $100 bill … Whiskey, Single Malts, Jazz Cocktails, Glam, Super high heels…. WTFUNK!!
Headlining Aug 8, 10pm onwards are Think Geek’s super Funk DJ Duo, DJ JIVA and DJ MV CLIFF. Former supermodel on the Indian fashion circuit, DJ JIVA started out as early as ’93 with ‘celebrity’ exhibitions at places like The Cellar, London Pub & RG’s with acid jazz, funk & trip hop sets and music as diverse as ‘Ozric Tentacles’ in the time of pop music and club hits. He still maintains an edgy newness to his DJ sets. Arguably one of the best chill out DJs in India with his past residency at ‘Axirvaad Gallery Restaurant’ in Goa, it must be said that his repertoire is very diverse and spans the range from very deep ambient ‘Goa Chill’, world, trip hop and mashed mellow grooves to absolute head banging electro, club, break beat, minimal tech, deep house, progressive house, psy trance, dub step and drum & bass. Jiva has played the ‘Boom Festival’ in Portugal and several venues in Los Angeles, Goa, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata and Jaipur.
