Raj-neeti is nothing but the politics or rather call it “The Evil Side of Politics”.  According to the political analysts, ZP election of this time was the semi-final of the 2017 polls. Well that’s very interesting scoop but the fact is everything will depend on the allies which will form after the results, as it is but natural that more people may want to go with the flow. But one cannot deny the elector surge which tried give clear mandate against the present government. Now only the time will tell what will happen in the year 2017 when the general election will take place, but at the moment let’s take a look at the present scenario where everybody has the say something about the ZP poll outcome.

According to the Taleigao heavyweight politician & presently looking after the St. Cruz constituency Mr. Babush Monseratte “It’s a result of Manohar Parrikar going to Delhi” According to the sources Mr. Babush was recently expelled from the Congress for openly supporting BJP MLA Siddharth Kuncalienker, who won the bye-election after defence minister Parrikar had quit the Panaji seat. Majority of the people in Taleigao feel that Parrikar has a secret understanding with Babush to negotiate his victory from Panaji every time. And now that he won both the ZP seats including his wife’s Taleigao seat in the ZP election, has his own analysis of the debacle of the BJP in the election, however the taleigao BJP unit has alleged that their own party (BJP) government did not support them during the election.

However Mr. Babush has not yet conveyed his support to BJP in ZP when it falls short of 1 seat to come to power, perhaps he has decided to wait and watch till the ZP is formed and Mr. Parrikar comes down to Goa from national capital. Only time will enlighten the real game plan.

Acording congress candidate and Valpoi MLA Mr. Vishwajit Rane has something else to say, according to him “This is a beginning of a new Parivartan in Goa”. The Junior Rane was totally at the helm of affairs in this election, in the whole Sattari taluka, represented by him and his father and opposition leader Pratapsing Rane. He managed to win Nagargao and Usgao-Ganje in his Valpoi constituency as well as Keri and Honda in his Daddy’s Poriem constituency. According to him, the result is a reaction of the people to the false assurances given by the BJP-led government to the people of Goa. “The people have realised that they have been fooled and that is the reason they have reacted in such a manner”, said Vishwajeet. The process of Parivartan has begun and it would be complete in the next Assembly election in 2017, he claims.

According to CM Mr. Laxmikant Parsekar they are going to form the ruling groups in both the district as they lack of only one seat in the north Goa. Which according Mr. Parsekar is very much manageable “The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party is confident of coming to power at Zilla Panchayats in both the districts in spite of the debacle”. Perhaps this could be the outcome of statement made by the St. Cruz MLA Mr. Babush Monseratte “I have friends in all the parties. I will decide whom to support when time comes”.

On the other hand Mr. Parsekar is also been claiming that several independents have started approaching him with the support. “In the South Goa, the BJP has won only 7 seats while 4 are won by the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party and 2 by Mickky Pacheco’s Goa Vikas Party, that makes 13, enough to form our own group”, said Parsekar while the Congress, through its independent candidates, has won only 4 seats while 8 more are independents. According to the tally in North Goa BJP has won 11 seats while the rest of the seats are divided in CONG (5 Seats), Babush Monseratte (3 Seats) & Independent (6 Seats) total 25 seats, It is also known fact that Babush had supported the BJP in City Corporation of Panaji to make the Mayor of the ruling party while the post of deputy mayor has been given to his group.

Only the time will tell who will support whom and who will stay with the mandate of people who have been always ditched by the shrewd politicians, but one thing is sure that this ZP election will be an eye opener for all regardless of politician or public.
