The name DUDU is not new for Goa or Goans, it refreshes the memories of Police – Drug Dealer Nexus that came into light in Goa in late 2009. Dudu was part of the case filed by ANC against him in the year 2010. In fact, he has probably not visited Goa for a long time after the case of the drug nexus came up in the media, but surprisingly the same guy was found assaulted by the locals in Anjuna. What exactly happened, read the complete report here…

According to the reports published by Times of India, The infamous Israeli national DUDU alias David Driham was brutally assaulted by the locals in Anjuna when he entered into the scuffle with them.

The reports claimed that both the parties have lodged the complaint with Anjuna police station with claim and counterclaims.

The cause of the dispute is said to be the odd behaviour of DUDU which caused natives of the Anjuna to get upset on him.

According to police, Dudu had asked for a jetski ride on Anjuna beach at about 6 pm with the local supposedly known to him. Dudu was handed over the jet ski with the assurance that he will not take it words the rocky side of the sea.

Despite giving assurances to the JetSki owners, DUDU took the Jetski towards the rocky region which made owner annoyed, and when he demanded an explanation from DUDU a scuffle broke out and DUDU allegedly hit the local which led to escalating the incident.

The lawyer of DUDU said that his client was beaten by one Mahesh and others at Anjuna with the iron rods. “Dudu was beaten up by one Mahesh and others at Anjuna. He was it with iron rods on head, chest, and back. We have filed a complaint with the police. Dude has been admitted to district hospital at North Goa at Peddem Mapusa and we are waiting for the police to record the statements” Dudu’s advocate Raju Povlekar told to the media.

The lawyer also said that he has already contacted the Embassy and had sent them the pictures of the assault to take further action in this matter.
