The Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan’s former wife Sussanne Khan had finally come out in the media and rubbished the allegations framed by the Managing Partner of Emgee Construction Company who had filled the cheating case against the celebrity wife in Panaji police station. According to Sussanne, the allegations are false and defamatory. She claimed that this is the outcome of her recovery proceedings that she had initiated against the builder. Based on the news published by the national news agency ANI, Hrithik Roshan’s former wife Sussanne Khan who was booked by the Panaji police station in the alleged Rs. 1.87 crore cheating case has told the media that the said complaint had been filed to pressurize and intimidate her to withdraw the arbitration proceedings filed by her for the recovery of her dues.
According to the reports, Susssanne had refuted the charges saying that “It is alleged that I have cheated Emgee Enterprises and misrepresented to the complainant that I am an architect. The said complaint is motivated and preposterous and has been only filed to intimidate me and pressurize me to withdraw the arbitration proceedings initiated by me in the first instance to recover my dues and damages resulting from breach of contract.”

According to her, the dispute has arisen out of the recovery of the dues which are not paid yet by the company and that she has challenged the termination of the contract in the court. “I have challenged the termination of the contract and have invoked arbitration under the contract for recovery of my dues. As a counter-blast to the said proceedings Mr Mudhit Gupta only with the intention to harass and pressurize me to give into his frivolous counter claim initiated the criminal complaint. I have not made any misrepresentation and have maintained the highest standards of ethics in discharge of my work.”
She further told the media that she is not the one who would get intimidated with such kind of allegation. She rather prefers to fight back and take appropriate legal action against the said allegations. “I am going to take the arbitral proceedings to the logical conclusion and instead of getting intimidated will respond to the frivolous charge in the most befitting way possible. Such wild allegations do not scare me. Rather it encourages me to stand and respond. The allegations are false and defamatory and I will take the appropriate action in accordance with the law,” said Sussanne.
Earlier the complainant Mudhit Gupta who is the managing partner of a real estate firm in Goa called Emgee Properties had made an allegation in his complaint filed before the Panaji police saying that the accused (Susssanne Khan) has falsely represented herself as an Architect to secure a contract with the company. The said contract was executed by the company with Ms. Sussanne for “Architectural and Designing Services” in the month of September 2013, claimed the sources.
The said project is being constructed at Siridao in Tiswadi under the name of Naira Complex in the North Goa. The complainant alleged that Sussanne failed to deliver the project within the period stipulated in the contract.
