Mumbai police seems to be not ready to leave any options open for the prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case which could lead to their escape in the court of law. To make sure that police is working on creation of the crime scene and in a bid to reconstruct the crime scene to recover the evidence in this case. Accordingly police took Indrani Mukerjea to her Worli residence just before her custody is due to expire in two days.
The custody of all the accused is coming to an end in couple of days and the investigators wants to unfold the “Filmi” plot in a process to determine as why the accused chose the Raigad spot for dumping the body. It is to be recalled that the Mumbai police had earlier recovered the suitcase from the residence of Indrani Mukerjea, wife of media baron Peter Mukerjea which was allegedly kept to dispose the body of her son Mikhail, who was supposedly the next target of Indrani after Sheena.
According to the sources from police department, Indrani Mukerjea was brought to her residence in Worli in the morning by the Mumbai police, during the one hour grilling she revealed lots of facts pertaining to the case. Police took her on to the fourth floor residence. She also showed policeman the garage in the residence premises which according to the police is the place where the dead body of Sheena was kept on the day she was murdered. Requesting the court to grant extension of the custody of the accused, Special Public Prosecutor Vaibhav Bagade had yesterday said, “It may appear ‘filmi’ but we need to find out why this particular place was chosen to dump the body.” “The scope of probe is large and the accused is a hard nut to crack. They have used modern tools like email and Internet to plan the murder. The progress shown in investigation is already on record and the police have not wasted a single day,” special public prosecutor Vaibhav Bagade added.
Meanwhile as mentioned here earlier, police will also probe Indrani’s email account and credit cards details as they want to leave no stone unturned to solve this murder mystery; Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria has reportedly said that he will not let Sheena Bora murder case turn into Delhi’s Aarushi Talwar case. Police had told the court even as forensic results of the samples of skeletal remains found in Raigad forest are awaited and they further claimed that on Thursday that Indrani had confessed to murdering Sheena. Investigators are also probing if someone else too was involved in the alleged murder conspiracy. Indrani, who was produced in the court yesterday, remained calm and composed through the hearing. Policemen formed barricades inside the court room to keep the crowd in check.
The custody of Indrani Mukerjea and the remaining two more accused may end in couple of days but the case will go on in the court which may take long time till it reaches to the judgement. Here onwards the lawyers will play all the game of law which will decide the destiny of all the accused involved into this murder case. Media will do their job by bringing the development in this case. Please do not forget to leave your valuable comments and suggestion on this issue.
