Police have claimed that they have busted the high-profile sex racket in Mumbai and arrested several women including a model and two small time actresses on their raid on Tuesday.
The rescued woman includes a Marathi film actress, an upcoming model and a television actress who is seen regularly on the crime serial show “Savdhaan India”. The police have claimed that based on the available tip they laid a trap in one of the prominent upmarket shopping malls in Goregaon where the victim women were supposed to meet their pimps and customers. The police nabbed three pimps identified as Ashraf, Saira, and Aman who allegedly used to collect between Rs.50,000 and Rs.100,000 to supply the women to their high profile and corporate clients.
According to the sources, the undercover police got in touch with the people associated with this racket online posing as a supplier. After getting the confirmed lead about the dealings the police raided a building near film city and arrested two models and two pimps named as Surya and Ashraf. These pimps used to share the pictures of prospective models and actresses on the social media with their customers and upon the confirmation, they used to make the arrangements for the supply of the girls.
Later the police caught the TV actress and a female Marathi actress on the basis of information provided by the pimps. During the interrogation, it has been revealed that the huge amount of Rs. 50000 to 100000 was charged per session by the girls. Most of the clients according to the sources belong to either corporate sectors or businessmen.

According to the sources, a case has been registered and a further investigation is in progress. More interrogation may spill out more details on the sex rackets prevalent in the industry. The high profile rackets are obviously run with the full consent of the girls who sell their bodies for money and hence the procedure of rescue does not apply here.
