THE SAGLANI FAMILY FROM GOA WAS ON THEIR WAY BACK TO GOA, IN A CAR AFTER ATTENDING THE FAMILY FUNCTION IN HYDERABAD. BUT, WHEN THEIR CAR REACHED NEAR DHARWAD IT MET WITH A TRAGIC ACCIDENT IN WHICH MRS. DIPTI SAGLANI, 50, DIED ON THE SPOT WHILE OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS WERE SHIFTED TO THE HOSPITAL IN SERIOUSLY INJURED CONDITION.
The highways are always accident prone and long distance travels many times becomes the major reason behind the road accidents. Here, in this case, the Saglani Family including Mr. Bharat Saglani, his wife Dipti Saglani and two daughters were on their way to Goa in a Corolla car after attending a family function at Hyderabad, and when their car reached Dharwad it met with an accident.
According to the Dharwad police, Mrs. Saglani was critically injured in an accident, and while shifting to the hospital she died on the way, while the other members of the family sustained serious injuries, and have been admitted into the hospital in Dharwad.
The accident took place between two cars on the Dharwad highway near Shivalli. Mr. Saglani’s car was proceeding towards Goa while the other car was going in the opposite direction.
Based on the information provided by the Dharwad police PSI Anand Doni, the accident took place in the wee hours of the day. “The accident took place at 4.30am on Thursday between Dharwad and Navalgund,” said the police officer adding that “In this accident, the Goan businessman Bharat Saglani and his two daughters were seriously injured, and their treatment is going on in the hospital at Dharwad.
According to the information provided by the Dharwad Police, the Saglani family was on their way to Goa from Hyderabad in their Toyota Corolla car while a Swift car from Dharwad was proceeding in the opposite direction at a very high speed.
To avoid the direct impact with the oncoming car, Mr. Saglani maneuvered his car on the left due to which it turned turtle and all the four occupants in the car got seriously injured.
Bharat Saglani, his wife Dipti Saglani and two daughters were in the car when the accident took place, said the sources. All the four were shifted to the hospital in an ambulance but Dipti Succumbed to her injuries on the way to the hospital.
According to the sources, Dipti had received serve head injury in this accident due to which she died. The Dharwad police said that the condition of Mr. Saglani and his two daughters is stable at the moment and they are recovering.
