Goa is a land steeped in heritage, endowed with rich cultural capital and has been fertile ground for budding artists. Ruchika’s Art Gallery was established as a platform with a vision to showcase and promote Goan art. This at a time when avenues for the same were far and few. Over the past seven years this endeavour has taken us across the country and beyond, to emerging art and culture hubs such as Abu Dhabi and Dubai as well as established ones like Los Angeles.
Ruchika’s has come a long way since and has played a significant role in enabling the creation of a vibrant Goan art scene. There is a proliferation of art galleries in Goa and Goan artists are increasingly making their presence felt at various galleries and art events across the country. Ruchika’s now aims to take its stated objective to a next level by adopting a more inclusive approach to promoting art and design.
“Ruchika’s Art Gallery is committed to the experimentation and growth of art and provides a large canvas of opportunities for local, national and international artists in the realm of Goa.”
