Two brothers traveling on the two-wheeler were hit by the wild animal in a self-accident that took place in Kalem village in Sanguem. One was killed on the spot and while another is critically injured in the accident, said the sources. According to the sources, two brothers Umesh Mishal and Nilesh Mishal were traveling on their two-wheeler at around 8.30 pm and while they were passing through the jungle area their two-wheeler was hit by the wild animal due to which both the youth flung off from the bike and fell on the either sides of the road. The impact was so serious that, one of them died on the spot while other is admitted in GMC in critical condition, said the sources.

The accident has taken place on Tuesday night at Kalem village which is a densely forested area in Sanguem. According to the sources, Umesh Mishal (25) from Kalem village died on the spot after the bike he was traveling with his younger brother Nilesh Mishal was hit by the wild animal. The two-wheeler was driven by the elder brother Umesh while his younger brother Nilesh was sitting pillion said the sources.

Based on the information available from the reliable sources, Umesh Mishal was working at Margao in a Popular High School as a Librarian and as per the arrangements he used to travel from Margao to Kalem via Bus and from Kalem Bus stop his younger brother used to pick him up back home on a two-wheeler. Based on the above arrangements on Monday the younger brother Nilesh was was waiting at the Kalem bus stop for Umesh on his two-wheeler.

According to the sources, the deceased Umesh Mishal reached at Kalem bus stop at around 8.30 pm on Monday and from there he along with his kid brother Nilesh started their journey back home. But while they were on their way through the jungle area, a wild animal dashed against their two wheeler due to which both of them flung from their bike and fell on the either side of the road.

The sources have said that, while Nilesh was lying on the roadside the Umesh (deceased) fell in the bushes nearby and that is why nobody could notice him. Someone passing from that road saw Nilesh lying on the road crying in agony and took him to the nearby district hospital but since his condition was very serious he was later shifted to GMC at Bambolim.

Meanwhile, the family members of Umesh started his search in the nearby area and found him lying dead in the bushes. According to the people from the village of Kalem Umesh was the support system of their family and was very honest and hardworking person.
