Although later on he (Rajdeep) ruled out the possibility of joining AAP contradicting his own earlier statement but party sources in Delhi claims that since he is very close to Mr. Kejriwal the chances are bright that he may join the AAP.

After gaining the victory over Rajdhani Delhi the aspirations of Kejriwal started growing and he put his step into Punjab. Obviously, he received a good response in Punjab and now he is eyeing at three more destinations, Maharashtra the financial hub of India, Goa the tourism hub of India and Gujarat the PM’s constituency.

According to the sources, Kejriwal is in the process of fielding three prominent faces in these three western states of India. While journalist Rajdeep Sardesai could be projected as CM candidate from Goa, Nana Patekar, and Kanu Kalsariya are likely to be the faces from Maharashtra and Gujarat respectively. Meanwhile keeping all the speculations away Rajdeep denied the possibilities of entering the party at the moment. When Goa Prism contacted the AAP Goa convener Valmiki Naik over the phone he denied the talk saying that he is not having any such information at the moment and he is unaware if Rajdeep is joining AAP.

According to the sources, it was India Samvad news channel that gave the news out into the media speculating the possibility of Rajdeep joining AAP Goa. They also claimed that although Rajdeep is interested in joining the AAP but he has not openly expressed the willingness. According to the sources, Rajdeep’s contract with India today group is getting over in the month of September 2016 and if he sees the AAP wave in Goa this renowned television journo may become the CM face of the party. In the meantime, Kejriwal and Ashutosh await Rajdeep’s final take on joining AAP, with open arms.

There are speculations of film star Nana Patekar also joining AAP in Maharashtra. The sources said that one of the senior leaders of AAP has revealed that, film star Nana Patekar can also be spotted sharing the stage with Arvind Kejriwal. The assembly elections are still far in Maharashtra and the party is not in any hurry. Kejriwal and Patekar are considered close to each other.

Kejriwal enjoys the good rapport with Nana and he also admires Nana’s work that he has done for the welfare of farmers of Vidharbha in Maharastra. It may be recalled that the farmers in Vidharbha were committing mass suicide because of huge debts and Nana came to their rescue.

The third pillar of AAP in the western region is speculated to be the former BJP MLA Kanu Kalsariya who has already joined the AAP and giving the sleepless nights to the BJP leaderships in Gujrat. This made him earn a lot of respect in the AAP campus claimed the sources. In the upcoming elections, Kalsariya could be fielded as the CM face in Gujarat.

Taking into the account all these speculations it is certain that after Delhi AAP is getting ready to take over the remaining four states, Punjab, Goa, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. This will make AAP the second most powerful party in India after the BJP. Let’s wait and watch how much of the speculations the reality becomes.
