THE BJP CANDIDATE FOR PANAJI CONSTITUENCY MR. PARRIKAR RETAINED THIS SEAT SINCE 1994 IN HIS FAVOR AND HE HAS ALSO DONE SEVERAL DEVELOPMENTS IN HIS CONSTITUENCY DURING HIS TENURE AND HAS NOW COME OUT WITH A NEW AGENDA FOR THE PEOPLE OF PANAJI. ACCORDING TO HIM HIS GOING TO BRING REVOLUTION TO THIS CITY IN JUST 365 DAYS.

The habit of vague promises runs in the world of politics and it’s not new to anybody but the irony is that people still fall for them. The same case being with Mr. Parrikar who has made several promises in the past that have been forgotten faster than some of the “Political Parties” that disappeared from the state after the election.

Chief minister Manohar Parrikar filed his nomination papers for the August 23 by-elections, saying that he expected to win by a “historic margin of 9,000 votes”.

After filing his nomination papers before the returning officer, Parrikar expressed confidence, saying that BJP’s victory in Panaji was never under question, but added that former MLA Atanasio ‘Babush’ Monserrate’s support was an advantage.

MANOHAR PARRIKAR VISITED OUR LADY OF IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

Before filing his nomination, he visited the Mahalaxmi temple and Our Lady of Immaculate Church for blessings. After which he addressed the crowd gathered in premises of Mahalaxmi Temple and took a vow to solve all the problems of Panjim within 365 days. He assured to the people of Panaji that it will be done within the first year of his 5-year tenure if he is elected. He then went on to ask the people to start a reverse countdown after the results are declared on 28th August 2017.

The action plan that he has prepared for Panjim will cover issues like development, infrastructure, education, personal issues like employment, property issue, water issues, power issues etc. He further added that the issue will either be completed or will be under execution by the end of the year. The action plan will also be implemented in Mapusa, Margao, Ponda Vasco and smaller towns.

Parrikar said that his doors will be open for Ponnjekars 24/7 in the case of emergency purposes and for normal issues, he would meet them on Wednesday and Friday.
