In one of the most shocking incidents that took place at Chimbel, the Panch member Mohan Narve was allegedly attacked by one Azam along with three of his associates with a knife, causing the serious injuries to him. The incident took place on Wednesday at Chimbel, one of the suburbs of Panaji. According to the police repots, all the four accused are on run at the moment.

According to the sources, an incident of stabbing took place on Wednesday at Chimbel near the capital city of Goa. The sources revealed that the fight took place over the dispute related to the money which was borrowed by the accused Azam from the victim Mohan Narve.

According to Mohan, the accused Azam along with three others came to him and started the verbal scuffle. Azam was accompanied by his son and two other people and one of them removed the knife and stabbed him. “He (Azam) had borrowed 5000 from me and I was just requesting him to return the same. But every time I requested him, he would start the fight,” said the victim Mohan Narve.

The police sources said that they are on the lookout of the accused Azam and three of his accomplice. Meanwhile, the victim Narve is currently admitted at GMC where he is undergoing the treatment. The Old Goa police have registered the FIR of assault against the four accused and further investigation is underway, said the sources.
