Another Road accident took place in Goa due to the negligence of the owner and driver claiming one more life. People seems not following the traffic rules and guidelines in the state on the account of loose control from the department of road transport and authorities who close their eyes on the violations. The violations do mean alone the rash and negligent driving but the entire maintenance of the commercial vehicles are not in place in the state of Goa due to which the rising number of fatalities have gone up in Goa and has become a cause of serious concern. In this incident, the tyre of tempo got burst resulting in the death of one. A cleaner of Tempo carrying fish died on the spot, while the driver had a narrow escape, after the vehicle in which he was traveling overturned on the Agassaim bypass in Goa.

However, when it reached on the Agassaim bypass, the tyre of the tempo burst and overturned on the middle of the highway. Rajendra Govinda Goverdhan (28) died on the spot, while the driver had a narrow escape.

There can be many reasons behind a tyre getting burst. According to the information, speeding with old tyres lead to tyre bursts due to excessive heat generation. It is because of more friction between the tyre and concrete. Also one must make sure that tyres of the vehicle to be driven should be in a good condition. People tend to drive fast on open stretches. Many a time’s people are found driving at the speed of 150km/hr which may be dangerous if the tyre’s condition is not good or the air pressure is not maintained.

This not only risks the life of the driver but also invites trouble for others on the road. Once in a month at least, drivers of their respective vehicles should check into the maintenance of the vehicle to avoid such mishaps.
