Taking one more step forward in the direction of serving the citizen of the state, Goa Police has decided to launch the WhatsApp graft complaint facility in Goa. This facility will help you to file any graft complaint against any corrupt police personnel along with the image, video, voice featuring their corrupt activities. Goa Police on Thursday unveiled the WhatsApp number on which you can report and file your complaints related to corruption that is taking place in Goa Police.
In the statement released by the PRO (Public Relation Officer) of Goa Police says that, the complaint can be in any format, it could be just the written posts as well as images and videos on the related graft within the police department can be sent via WhatsApp on the WhatsApp number 70301- 00000. “Now public can send the videos, images and text of any corrupt practices taking place in the Goa Police department via WhatsApp and lodge the complaint against the culprits,” said the statement.
The statement also said that the facility has been started for the benefit of the general public who wants to report the indulgence of the police personnel in corruption. It is to be recalled that few months back Director General of Police T N Mohan had accepted the high level of corruption exists in the police department. “I am very much concerned about the level of corruption that we suspect in the police department and it is very painful to accept this fact, but we cannot hide it. The reports which I am getting is not encouraging for me to not to accept that there is a level of corruption in this force,” said IGP, Mohan.
