As many of us prefer to train as our means of transport here is the important news for all the train users. Now all the problems related to the Konkan railway will be solved immediately by The Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd ( KRCL). KRCL has promised to resolve the complaints related to its catering services immediately while encouraging passengers to SMS their complaints to Konkan railway special customer care number. Customers will now have to message their complaint to the above-given number and their problem will be solved. Here is the report.
There are all efforts made by Konkan Railway as to ensure quality, quantity and rates of the products sold from stations and trains under the management of Konkan Railway. KRCL also maintained in a press note that “all complaints received are resolved on real time basis to the extent possible”.
The catering services are under the administrative control of Konkan Railway at the Konkan Railway stations. And the catering services in most of the trains passing through Konkan Railway are under the administrative control of the respective train-owning railways.
The press note stated, “In the trains, wherein catering services are not made available by the train-owning Railway, Konkan Railway provides in-train vending services through licensed contractors. Rate list of the various items sold at stations is displayed in the stalls and the rate list for the items sold in the trains is available with the vendors. The rate list is also made available on the website of Konkan Railway,”
The KRCL has also urged passengers not to believe in any rumors about the Indian Railway’s ticket reservation system.
