THIS CASE WILL BE A BIG CHALLENGE FOR THE GOA POLICE AS A DEAD BODY OF IRB POLICE CONSTABLE KISHOR SHIRODKAR HAS BEEN RECOVERED FROM NIOS PREMISES. ACCORDING TO THE REPORTS, THE DECEASED KISHOR HAD AN INJURY MARKS ON HIS FACE AND BODY, AND HE WAS CHOCKED WITH THE PLASTIC BAG IN HIS MOUTH. THE POLICE SOURCES CLAIMS THAT IT’S A SUICIDE BUT THE CIRCUMSTANCES POINT TOWARDS MURDER. NOW ONLY THE POST MORTEM REPORT WILL REVEAL THE FACTS.
In one of the most shocking incidents that took place on Thursday morning at Porvorim, a body of an IRB police constable was found lying inside the compound of NIOS (National Institute of Open School) in mysterious circumstances. The shirt of the deceased was partially torn and there were injuries on his face.
The police found the body of deceased Kishor Shirodkar lying upside down, and there was a broken rope hanging from the facade of an open school which indicates towards the suicide. But, when the police personnel turned his body, they saw a Plastic bag stuffed in his mouth which obviously pointed towards Murder.
However the brother of the deceased, Rajesh Shirodkar told the media that, his brother cannot commit suicide and there is a possibility someone had eliminated him for their personal gains. According to the sources, Shirodkar was living with his in laws in Porvorim away from his own house in Morjim.
According to the sources, the deceased Shirodkar was in the IRB police and he was posted at Colvale Jail. The police found three beer bottles at the crime spot and out of which one was broken into the pieces which indicate that there was a fight between the deceased and an Unknown person who could have been the murderer, but the same will be revealed only after the investigations.
Kishor Shirodkar was married to Ashwini Sawant from Porvorim in the year 2009 and he was staying with her in Porvorim. The sources have revealed that Shirodkar was on leave for the past one week and today his body was found lying in the compound of Open School in Porvorim.
The Scooter which is registered in his wife was found lying at the crime spot from where the body of Shirodkar was recovered by the police. The people who are close to Shirodkar said that Kishor was a very simple and sober person and he never used to drink of smoke and that he was a vegetarian. But the bottles of beer and match sticks recovered by the forensic team of Goa Police tell a completely different story. Perhaps following the forensic report, it will come to light if Kishor was drinking that Night or not.
The news of the death of Kishor has come as a big shock to his family and people from his village. The MLA of Mandrem had come down to the crime spot and spoke to the media saying that he knew Kishor for many years, and he will make sure that police will conduct a proper investigation into this matter.
