THEY WERE DEEPLY IN LOVE AND DECIDED TO REMAIN IN RELATIONSHIP. AT THAT TIME SHE WAS JUST 15 AND HE WAS 18. SOON THEY GOT MARRIED BUT EVERYTHING CHANGED WHEN HE THOUGHT THAT SHE IS HAVING AN AFFAIR WITH SOMEONE…..

No relationship can sustain for long unless it is based on the trust, understanding, and compassion. All the marriages are not successful, but most of the marriages survive due to the feeling of responsibility towards each other. The case of Tanuja Naik, who was strangulated to death by her own husband, is one of the rarest examples of the paralyzed faith, and such kind of incidents are very rare in the state of Goa.

According to the police reports, the murder took place out of suspicion. The husband was living under the suspicion that his wife is having an affair with someone, and obviously, he did not have any proof supporting his doubts, and his confession before the police made his regrets more visible.

He told the police that he used the pillow to suffocate her her to death, and before leaving he wrote on the pillow with the Lipstick “Rest in Peace, Love You”. Nobody knows the reason behind this love story turning into the hate story, but based on the inputs collected from the various sources, we have put together, the following piece of article, which can be an eye opener for many couples, who may be going through the similar state that Tanuja and Aatish went through couple of days back.

THEY WERE DEEPLY IN LOVE

Based on the information collected from the various sources, the love story of Anuja and Aatish began more than a decade back when Anuja was just 15, and after completing her 12th both got married despite the stiff opposition from the side of Tanuja’s family.

After the marriage, Aatish continued to work as Caterer at Margao while Tanuja joined the Chowgule College to complete her further education. Although Aatish belongs to Ponda he was staying at Margao with Tanuja and they used to come to Ponda occasionally.

Tanuja also used to visit her parents in Raia occasionally as her college was very close to her place. Two years were passed by and the things started changing between them. According to the people close to them, they started having fights over various issues and the major reason behind the strain in relation was the suspicious nature of an accused Aatish Naik.

Aatish had a feeling that his wife Tanuja is having an affair with someone, as she used to come late from the college at many occasions, and the day before they came to stay at their ancestral house in Ponda they had fought over the similar issue. Aatish’s Aunt told the police that she heard them quarreling over some issue before Aatish left home on the pretext of getting the lunch and did not return.

THEY LOOKED HAPPY TOGETHER

The murder of Tanuja sent the surge of shock in the villagers. Everyone was shocked since they knew that this couple had fought with their parents to get married and their story ended so tragically.

Tanuja’s family is hailing from Karnataka and they are staying in Raia while Aatish belonged to Ponda and he used to stay in Margao with his mother. Tanuja’s family was completely against this marriage but finally they had succumbed to the pressure from their daughter who was madly in love with Aatish, said the sources.

Everything was going well between them until the suspicious nature of Aatish started creating a crack in their relationship which finally resulted in the murder of Tanuja Naik. Her body was recovered by the police on Tuesday from their ancestral house in Ponda while Aatish was absconding. Ponda police sent the body of Tanuja for post mortem and the report confirmed the death due to strangulation.

AND ONE DAY HE KILLED HER BY STRANGULATING

Police managed to arrest the accused Aatish Naik next morning from Ponda bus stand as he was returning from Belgaum. Aatish confessed of having killed Tanuja by strangulating her and he revealed the motive behind the murder was her extramarital affair.

The love story which started around two years back ended with the death of Tanuja in hands of her own husband. The suspicious nature is a slow poisoning which makes both the people suffer. If someone feels that their partner is not faithful in the relationship it is better to get separated instead of suffering with it. Killing someone does not get justified in any case. Hope this story helps others to not to take such drastic step in the case of strain in the relationship. Please leave your valuable feedback on this story.
