This issue appears specifically when the device gets updated with the latest version of IOS operating system, iOS 9. In its report, the Guardian narrated the story of a freelance photographer, Antonio Olmos, who claimed the similar problem occurred on his phone when the iOS operating system on his phone was updated to version 9.

The narration of Olmos was very shocking. According to him, he had spent hundreds of thousands of ponds on the Apple products over the years but when he approached the Apple store in London with his problems, the store staff told him that they are unable to help him and that the phone is a junk now.

According to the sources, there are many complaints about the error 53 on the Apple’s discussion forums  one of the users named Wallihall wrote that with the new update he is unable to use his phone while still paying for the phone. According to him, he got his front screen replaced which is now based on the apple policy called as “tempered with”, he pleaded the Apple to allow him only to migrate back to the old IOS operating system so that he can retrieve his valuable data, images etc. that he had on the phone prior to the error appeared.

Apple told the paper that they have devised the new system in the iOS 9 based on which the update checks if there are any unauthorized repairs, were carried out on the phones. In the case of iPhone has been serviced by the unauthorized service persons which are connected to the touch screen and touch ID sensor, it would automatically go into the error 53 modes making the device unusable for the consumer.

Apple has advised all its users who are facing the similar problems to contact Apple support for the solution for the same. Meanwhile, the Apple is in the process of setting up of its first Apple store in the India which will help many Apple product users. Presently there are few service centers in India but they are unable to provide any immediate service in case of the breakdown in the Apple devices. The opening of Apple store may lead to eliminating the existing problem. In case you are the Apple user please do leave your comments on this issue.
