Sanjay Harmalkar, BJP vice president Goa has today came out with the statement saying that he believes in Akhand Bharat and he would do anything to keep it that way, he did not say anything wrong as mentioned in one of the national daily, in regards with JNUSU leader Kanhaiya. According to him Goa is peaceful and if anyone tried to breach its peace, he will not spare them.

[su_expand more_text=”READ MORE” less_text=” ” height=”0″ hide_less=”yes” link_style=”button” link_align=”center”] According to him, He was speaking at a national seminar of “Sant Sahitya” where he said that “People of India should follow the path of Indian Sant and there should be a syllabus in the school and colleges teaching about our own culture and tradition. I being an Indian support this philosophy and I do not mind going to any extent to stop the people who are anti-national or speak against my country.”

According to Harmalkar, his statement had been turned and twisted by the media as per their convenience. I am not going back on my statement of telling the media that, If Kanhaiya or anyone comes to Goa and tries to breach the peace of the state by forcibly injecting his philosophy in the young generation students, then I will not be able to hold myself back, it does not matter who comes in my way. For me my nation is a priority and before that my birthplace Goa.”

The National news media IANS had published the news claiming that BJP’s Goa Vice-President Sanjay Harmalkar had threatened that he will ‘beat up’ the JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar if he comes to Goa University. But according to Harmalkar, it is a wrong projection of the news. While talking to Goa Prism, Harmalkar said that he does not have any intention to stop anyone from coming to Goa but he will not tolerate the nonsense from anyone too. “I want my peaceful Goa to remain that way only, if someone tries to breach its peace and harmony I will not spare them, it does not matter even if it is Kanhaiya.”

According to Mr. Harmalkar, there is some sort of misleading activities going on there in among the student. He was approached by some students passing some sort of threats, “I do not want to raise my hands on the kids out there. I ask the culprits behind them to come out and confront me directly. I am here available 24X7 you do not have search for me, I will come wherever you want me to come,” said Harmalkar.

Harmalkar does not deny of saying that he called Kanhaiya an anti-national or former prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru an instrument behind the division of our country. According to Harmalkkar, It is the fact that all the students that are studying in the university are getting funded by the taxpayer’s money and if they only want to divide our country into pieces, it is completely wrong.  [/su_expand]
