Café Mambos was Fashion struck on 11th and 12th of April when Fashion Designer and former Miss Goa Sparsha Deshpande in association with Anta Jewellers organized a 2day Intensive Modeling Workshop for Girls. This workshop was organized for all those aspiring models who wish to get groomed and trained under the right guidance towards pursing professional modeling. The workshop’s prime focus was on different elements like modeling orientation, fitness and diet, beauty and makeup, Catwalk and presentation, personality development and poise and etiquette.
All the participants were individually groomed and personally trained by the experts from the fashion Industry. Carol Fernandes a celebrity makeup artist and hairstylist conducted beauty and makeup session. Sanjeev Salvi renowned fashion and lifestyle photographer shared his insights about the importance of photo movements and modeling. On the other hand, motivating us towards a healthy living Sheryl Afonso E Dsouz’a gave us expert advice on how to maintain a healthy yet Fashionable life. Our personality development trainer Pravin Sabnis build a beautiful atmosphere of learning for our contestants by improvising their knowledge about one’s potential and directed them towards building self confidence. Melvyn Noronha with his charming personality left quite an impression on the participants inspiring them toward pursuing professional modeling. The catwalk, poise and presentation was conducted by Sparsha Deshpande where she taught the girls the basics of catwalk, importance of body posture, variations of poses and stage terminology.
Our Guest Of Honor Miss Diksha Singh ( The Winner of Miss Body Beautiful at the Femina Miss India 2015) was felicitated by the organizer celebrating her success for making Goa Proud On a National Platform. Thereafter, the participants were awarded with a participation trophy and certificates in the hands our Fashion Icon Miss Diksha Singh.
Based on the performances of the participants during their participation in the workshop , Kyra Pais won an exlusive feature in Abraxas lifestyle magazine and a Fashion shoot by Carol Fernandes, Samika Mullah and Inica Fernandes won a fitness makeover 1 month free membership voucher from Norbert’s Fitness studio Goa, Maya Kalsi won a professional portfolio shoot by Sanjeev Salvi, Merlyn Dcost’a won an exlusive feature in Goa Prism Magazine, Samika Mullah was selected for a fashion shoot by Harini Fashion Boutique, Manisha madgoankar won a makeover styled voucher by Afsha’s the hair beauty and makeup studio, Michelle lobo was selected by Media waves for a modeling assignment lastly All the participants were gifted Vouchers by Dreamz Salon and Spa.

I am Fashion is an initiative promoted by Sparsha to enhance on the importance of pursing modeling as a career. This workshop’s motive was to build confidence and deliver quality education under the topic: Fashion. The organizer is feeling proud that I am fashion being her dream project it has successfully made an impact on Goa, leaving a positive mark on the global Fashion map.
