Goa Food & Cultural Festival to be held between 17-21 April 2015 at Dayanand Bandodkar Football Ground, Campal, Panaji. The Goa Food & Cultural Festival 2015, a Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC) initiative, is an annual Goan celebration ideally held during the Carnaval or during summer. Earlier, this festival was popularly known as ‘Goa Sea Food Festival’. In its 3rd edition, the Goa Food & Cultural Festival 2015 will be held at the Dayanand Bandodkar Football Ground, Campal – Panaji from 17-21 April 2015.
Participation is invited from restaurants (Goan, Indian, and Continental), snack/ fast food/ ice cream/ pastry outlets, soft drinks/ energy drinks/ non- alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages, automobiles, life style products etc by booking stalls at the festival. With the onset of summer, the festival expects both national and international tourists. Also, with the end of the academic year, visitors from around the state are also expected. With Campal, being an ideal location for the festival at the heart of the capital city, a full house is expected every day.
Goa Food & Cultural Festival 2015 will feature some of best entertainment acts from around the country including famous bands like INDUS CREED and PARIKRAMA, famous Bollywood playback singer Sudesh Bhosle who is known for his ability to mimic actor Amitabh Bachchan and having sung for him in various songs, special band from North East India ‘Colour’ as well as dance performances from the Season One Winners of India’s Got Talent – The Prince Dance Troupe. The entertainment programme will also include local talent with music bands, singers and performances by both popular and folk artists. A fashion show by renowned Goan fashion designer Verma D’mello will also take place during the festival.
The Goa Food & Cultural Festival 2015 is a much awaited Goan Summer Festival of 5 days of revelry with food, entertainment and drinks.
