Thousands of tourists and Goans converged at the D. B. Bandodkar Ground at Campal on Monday for a fun-filled entertaining program that brought to a close the four day Wine Festival in Goa. Cassandra Fernandes was crowned ‘Grape Escapade Queen 2015’ and Rachael Amaral, the Runner-Up, as Grape Escapade 2015 ended on a spectacular note on Monday.
The Grape Escapade Queen contest held on Sunday witnessed an overwhelming response of 16 participants. Six were selected in the final round and Cassandra and Rachael were selected Queen and Runner-Up respectively. The Director of Tourism Shri Ameya Abhyankar crowned the winners at a glittering ceremony.
