  1. On 8th September 2017 I was expecting a parcel from Bombay by courier. Suddenly I got a call from a mobile number 9834618298 who first informed me my name and stated that I had a parcel in the courier and he asked me to sms the address, thinking that it was the courier agent from Bombay I messaged him the address. I then get a message at 4.58 pm from IM-EcomEx stating that I quote” Your shipment 872795247 ordered on http://www.divyaupchar.com will be delivered by us today. Value of the shipment is Rs.2400 Regards EcomExpress
At 5.02 pm I get another message I quote “Dear Customer, Your shipment 872795247 is undelivered after 1st attempt on 08-09-2017 Please contact call centre @011-30212000 Ecom Express.
I had never placed any order with http://www.divyaupchar.com so what’s the modus operandi of this firm? Is it to cheat people by asking you to pay for a product you did not order? I then realized that it was a ponzi call agent who randomly call mobile numbers in their list. Why is our mobile numbers with our names being compromised? Does the mobile service center have the right to disclose our information to any random person? They are now asking us to link the adhaar card number with the mobile numbers. If our mobile numbers are disclosed for a price imagine what will happen if adhaar information is compromised. What should be done in this case? Why are the service centers not penalized for disclosing our personal information ? Unfortunately the Goa police does not help the citizens in such cases a criminal complaint should be lodged against http://www.divyaupchar.com / EcomExpress for cheating with the above given mobile numbers they can easily be traced if the police has the will to do so ?
