According to police reports, Prajyot Dhuri resident of Rajbagh lodged the complaint against the online company on the social media that sent the delivery of defective and nonfunctioning goods, against the items he had ordered through the online website, had contents of defective and nonfunctioning electronic goods.

A cheating case has been registered against E Com Express Pvt Ltd, a courier service provider, Flippy Deals an online sales promoter and OM Sales Corporation a retailer for cheating customers, at Canacona police station.

He complained that he had ordered a power bank, a combo offer he learned through his Facebook account, which offered a power bank for Rs 1100, with a second power bank free.

Later, his cousin told him about the receipt of an of faulty power bank he received from the same company. He revealed that on opening he found to be fitted with a small electric circuit and an epoxy paste-like wet substance and was not working at all.

When the delivery boy from Ecom Express arrived with the item the customer alerted the Canacona police.

Later, a panchanama was done and the sealed packet was opened only to find both the power bank units were not working and when opened, contained similar electrical circuit and wet paste inside the case.

If you check out the review for the website, you can say the majority of people have been similarly cheated, customers should always research before purchasing an item no matter the amount.
