The Department of Tourism along Goa Tourism Development Corporation will be shifting to the new Paryatan Bhavan (Tourism Bhavan) at Patto, Panaji on June 2, 2014. Goa Tourism will be fully functional from June 2 onwards at the new Tourism plaza.
The new complex will house The Department of Tourism, Goa Tourism Development Corporation and GTDC project cell for now. Initially, only the first two floors will be occupied. The aim of this project is to brings all stakeholders of the tourism industry under one roof. The new Tourism Bhavan will provide all tourism related services and information. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 21 crores.
Coming under one roof in a unique , landmark building with 4,500 sq. meters with modern facilities and fittings, Goa Tourism employees are looking forward to work from this new work space with greater synergy and productivity.
