Based on the information provided by the PR team of tourism department of Goa, Goa Tourism is organizing the “Freedom Ride” an exclusive bike rally on the Independence Day. The rally will be held on August 15, 2016, said the sources.
The bike rally will be an adventurous experience clubbed with the enjoyable ride passing through the lush green villages, the bikers will explore the treasure-packed churches, rivers, temples, and beaches. Feel the thrill and excitement with the roar of 100 plus bikers as they maneuver their machines through the enthralling routes chalked out for the rally.
According to the agency, this experience will be very exclusive in nature, since it is not going to be just a bike race but an adventure filled ride. As per the set down rules and regulations by the organizers, only two riders per bike will be allowed. The booking charges will be Rs. 800/- per person if paid in advance while the spot booking will cost Rs. 1000/- per person, said the sources.
The snacks and lunch will be served at GTDC’s Fort Tiracol Heritage Hotel. Every bike rider will also be provided with the T-Shirt said the sources. The expedition will start at sharp 9.00 a.m. from Paryatan Bhavan, Patto Panjim and will conclude at Shiroda, Goa Highway Junction. The route map will be shared with the participants on the day of the rally.
According to the sources, this bike rally will be more of a ride into the history and tradition of Goa. The famous historian Mr. Sanjiv Sardesai will accompany the riders and will also provide the valuable inputs on History, Culture, and Traditions of Goa. There will be also a pre-lunch Quiz Competition that will hold during the trip which will make the entire experience more interesting claimed the sources.
Before we close, there is one last and most important notice for all the aspiring riders in the rally according to that, the bike owners should hold the responsibility of their bikes. Rash driving will be prohibited. Consumption of alcohol will not be allowed.
