The tourism season is just about to take off in Goa, it is the time whole world awaits to come down to Goa and spend some quality time with their loved ones. Goa is also all set to embrace it. The new seasons bugles the beginning of the parties and festivals in Goa. Goa International Latin Festival is premiering this year announcing the beginning of festival season in Goa. This is the 5th edition of GILF (Goa International Latin Festival) which is scheduled to take place at Resort Rio, the five-star property located in Arpora Goa.
The announcement of the festival was done in the media press conference organized at the Resort Rio on 15th of October which was addressed by the #GILF John Anthony (Bangalore) and the panel of international salsa artists Troy Anthony (USA), Cisco (Belgium) and a couple, Oleg and Yaiza (Spain). John had announced that this year GILF will be witnessing more than 400 participants and they will be heading to Goa from all over the country. The core team of “Salsa Vacation Festival” as its known has a team strength of around 40 international and national artists who will perform and train the people from 16th to 18th October at Resort Rio.
The event will start on 16th at 2 pm which will continue till late night followed by the workshops, parties, pool parties and after party which will be the schedule for the next three days, says the press release.
The founder of Latin Rhythms Dance Academy (LRDA) and the organizer of GILF, John Anthony have a big plan of putting Goa on tourism calendar for Salsa lovers of the whole world and it is his top priority. According to him, this year #GILF with its 5th edition is scaling up the event as one of the biggest vacation festival in Asia with Goa as its destination.

LRDA (Latino Rhythms Dance Academy) founded by John Anthony, a Bengaluru-based entrepreneur, claims to have taught around 5000 students during the past eight years time. Jonh is also known for hosting Asia’s largest dance congress, Indian International Dance Congress (IIDC) every year for the past four years.
