- The program begins after 7.00 pm when electioneering comes to an end that
- The celebrations begin on the eve of Carnival to set the mood for the gala celebrations which begin on Feb 14.
- The first day will revolve around entertainment, food, music, décor, masquarades
- A special area us also being set up for children at the Samba Square.
- On Feb 14
The partying will begin after the parade where King Momo and his entourage will be brought to the Samba Square and read out his decree throwing open carnival celebrations at the Samba Square.
- On Feb 16
Samba Square turns red and black
The traditional red and black dance will be organized. Dress code for the dance is strictly red and black.
- On the 16th
There will be an Argentinian band performing – Rio Samaya
- On 17th the last day
The celebrations will continue with entertainment, food, music etc.
Food served will be authentic Goan food , décor will also focus on Goa.
People’s carnival is what the Panjim committee under the Commissioner CCP is assuring this year.
