Aldona MLA Glen Ticlo denied the charges imposed by the media on his Son for driving his BMW car in rash and negligent manner thus causing the death of one 18-year-old girl on Bangalore – Belgaum highway. He alleged that that it was the mistake of a victim girl who was crossing the road along with her friends without attention on the traffic. Though he sympathise with the family of victim calling it a bad time. Ticlo told the media that, the highways are meant for driving the vehicles, and people not suppose to cross the highway in haphazard manner.

The Road accidents are unpredictable and also unavoidable to certain extent, However safe you play on the roads, the accidents do take place due to the mistake of someone  else. Here in this case, the luxury car driven by the son of Aldona MLA Glen Ticlo hit one of the girls while she was in process of crossing the road along with her friends.

The shocking accident that took place on the Bangalore – Belgaum Highway (NH4), near Gandhi Nagar in Belgavi where a 18-year-old girl lost her life after she was hit by the car driven by Kyle Ticlo, son of the Aldona MLA Glen Ticlo.   

The incident occurred on Monday when two girls Tamreen Khalid Bispi, 20 and her sister Tehaniyat, 18 along with their friends were in process of crossing the road on the NH14 for heading towards the adjacent fruit market but in the bargain they were knocked down by a BMW which belonged to Glen Ticlo and was being driven by his son at the time of the accident.

Kyle has been booked for rash and negligence driving and causing death by negligence and subsequently was granted bail. If the accuse is found to be guilty, he will get jail term which will extend to 2 years along with a fine.

According to P R Patil, inspector at Balgavi (North) police station said that Tamreen’s body had been flung far from the point where the accident occurred.  He then added that “This is an indicator that the driver driving rashly and over speeding. On the other hand, the girls were trying to cross the highway which is dangerous. However, the court will decide after the charge sheet is filed”.    

Tamreen was killed on the spot where as her sister Tehaniyat sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at a hospital. But she is out of danger, said police.

After the accident a mob tried to attack Kyle and later on set his BMW ablaze, in that regards Kyle registered a complaint at the Malmaruti police station on Monday night itself. Later which Kyle’s father Glen Ticlo accompanied him to register the complaint against the mob.

Kyle had filed a case against unknown person for attempting murder and vandalizing his car. Following which the Malmaruti police station then arrested seven people for vandalizing his car.

The accused who have been arrested are Mazar Mohammad kaif, Abrar, Anjala, Afzal, Tofiq and Sailan all residents of Ujjwal Nagar. All the accused have been sent to judicial custody.

Police have registered a case against Kyle under sections 279, 338 and 304A of IPC and 184 of the Motor Vehicle Act.
