The benefits of L.E.D lighting is that it protects the soft tissues during surgery by not producing excess heat and hence avoids thermal neurosis of tissues & infection. The Radiology Department has top end X-ray machines which has a floating (trauma) table. Besides giving superior quality images and less radiation, it makes things easy for trauma (fracture) patient while taking X-rays. This is connected to computerised digital systems. It also has top end Ultrasonography machinery where in routine abdominal, transvaginal, echocardiography & color Doppler can be performed.
