Rape cases have become so common now-a- days that every day one victim is losing life behind this cruel offence. One such completely different case is found where the sexual deviant not only admitted to raping and murdering the minor but also said he had sex with eunuchs, homosexuals and even animals. Here is news of criminal Sachin Gopinath Pachane, a drug addict who ended the life of a four-year-old girl.
[su_expand more_text=”READ MORE” less_text=” ” height=”0″ hide_less=”yes” link_style=”button” link_align=”center”] The body of four-year-old was found in the bushes near Mankhurd T-junction on Sion-Panvel Highway on March 7, raped and murdered. She went missing from Mankhurd station and her mother had filed a complaint with the police station.
While talking to cops, mother of the victim gave an important clue saying, she saw a young man offering chocolates to her daughter, and that she could identify him. The victim’s mother told the police that this young man had stopped them while they were walking and said that he wanted to buy sweets for her daughter as she was a lovely-looking child. Her mother told him to stop bothering them and kept walking.
Police then found the CCTV footage from Sheetal Beer Bar, which is 100 metres from the crime site. CCTV footage shows the accused carrying a girl on his shoulder but the image was not too clear. From his appearance and the way of walking, the police suspected he was a drug addict and started investigating in all the nearby area.
On Wednesday night, the cops showed the victim’s mother some of the suspects, she pointed out Pachane and he was arrested immediately. The police said he is known as a drug addict in the locality and has a couple of cases of theft registered against him.
Police interrogated the accused who admitted that he had raped the minor. He confessed saying that drugs turn him into a compulsive sex maniac. The shocking news was that this sexual drive had led him to rape hundreds of animals as well. According to the police sources, the accused Sachin Gopinath Pachane is a daily wage labourer (24) and a resident of the same area as of the victim.
While the mother of the victim was busy shopping, accused kidnapped the girl and took her to the bushes, putting paper in her mouth to stop her screams and raped her. As the girl was yelling, rapist choked her to death. Medical examination has confirmed that she had been raped and then smothered to death.
Senior PI Nasir Sheikh, from the Mankhurd police station, said that, “The accused has confessed to his crime and that he is a pervert and would regularly visit commercial sex workers, eunuchs, homosexuals. In case he didn’t have money for sex workers, he would have sex with animals too. He stays at Maharashtra Nagar in Mankhurd.”
The accused is booked under various sections of IPC, counting rape and murder, and was also charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, since he has admitted he is a sexual deviant.
There were some recent attacks on minors at Powai and Dharavi and cops are investigating whether he was involved in it and also if he has committed similar crimes in the past.
There is an urgent need to take stringent action from the government against such act as it’s no more tolerable. Time has come when government ought to take severe action and save people from such cruelty where innocent who has not even started their life are ending up losing it.
