According to the another source, on the 14th April at 11.40 pm Titanic had received six warnings before hitting the iceberg. One of the members of the crew of Titanic Frederick Plight had raised an alarm and the first officer William Murdoch had immediately tried to reverse the ship which was about to hit the iceberg but it was too late and Titanic had collided with an iceberg. The captain ordered to fire the emergency rockets from the Titanic and the Californian Ship that was passing from nearby saw it but thought that it could be the part of celebrations going on in the Titanic.

Now Titanic had no options but to struggle alone with the disaster and at this point, it had only 20 lifeboats but fortunately the ship called Olympic caught an emergency signal from the Titanic but it was around the distance of 4 hours of journey from the Titanic, revealed the sources. Half the portion of Titanic was already submerged and the rest of it was about to enter into the water.

15th April 1912, 12.30 am the first lifeboat was released into the water with 28 people from the first class while the capacity of the boat was 35. People were running to save their lives and many have even jumped into the Ocean to save their lives but only to die into the water which has minus 2 degrees of temperature. Finally, unable to carry the load of people Titanic was torn from the middle into the two parts and sank into the 12000 feet deep water.

THE ACCIDENT COULD HAVE BEEN AVERTED?

According to the sources, when Titanic hit the ice rock there were only 30 seconds between spotting the ice rock and hitting on to it. It took almost two hours and 40 minutes for the ship to completely get submerged into the 12000 feet deep Ocean. There are records which show that this accident could have been averted.

According to the records, in the year 1985 when the first the ruins of the titanic were discovered the investigation in the direction of the reason behind the accident started getting various speculations. The sources claim that this accident could have been averted and many lives had been saved if the alertness of the crew members had played the major role. According to the sources, the Titanic was laced with the world’s best wireless standards that were giving the warning signals continuously before the accident took place. The other ships passing from the nearby had changed their routes after getting the signals of an iceberg. But in spite of having the world’s latest wireless system installed on the Titanic, the crew members did not get the warning signals? It is very difficult to believe. There is a possibility that the crew members of Titanic were unable to understand the warning signals sent by the wireless system and continued to ignore the signal of danger?

THE DISASTER COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED HAD THE RADIO OFFICER JACK PHILIP (ABOVE) HAD TAKEN THE WARNING SIGNALS SERIOUSLY (SOURCE)

According to the reports published in the year 2008, the news secrets related to the sinking of Titanic had been unleashed. According to the reports, this accident could not have taken place at all if the radio operator on the ship had to take the cognisance of the continuous warnings received on the radio. The job of Radio operator had been assigned to the 25-year-old Jack Philip and he had received the warnings from the Californian ship crew almost 6 times. But due to the personal differences existing between Jack Philip and the Californian operator, Philip had ignored the signals sent by the Californian operator.

Another thing that came to the light, was the capacity of the ship and a number of lifeboats were available on it. According to the sources, the Titanic had the storing capacity of storing 60 lifeboats but when the accident took place there were only 20 lifeboats were there on the ship. There are no records as to why the ship carried 40 fewer lifeboats. According to the experts, if the Titanic had 60 lifeboats, possibly everyone’s life could have been saved after the accident struck.
